New Vice Chair Appointed to TECTERRA Board of Directors
CALGARY, January 13, 2011:
Mr. Stephen Mulherin, Chair of the Board of Directors of TECTERRA
Inc., announced today the appointment of Ms. Heather Herring to the position
of Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. Ms. Herring has
served as Director on TECTERRA’s Board for the past year and also as the
Board’s Nominations Committee Chair. She will continue in that
capacity as well as taking on the responsibilities of Vice Chair.
Ms. Herring’s background includes more than a decade of
experience in strategic planning and budget management.
She is an MBA graduate from the University of Calgary and holds a BSc in
chemical engineering from the University of British Columbia. Her
impressive career has spanned from working as a senior engineer at TCPL
Resources to serving as the General Manager at the Alberta Ingenuity Centre
for In Situ Energy and to her current role as the R&D Technology Manager at
Total E&P Canada.
The role of Vice Chair was previously held by Ryan
Johnson, who remains as a member of the Board of Directors. TECTERRA extends
its sincere appreciation to Mr. Johnson for his valuable contribution to the
organization during his time as Vice Chair.
