Event & Funding Opportunity: Forum - Geomatics Technology
for Healthcare
Wondering how to apply GPS technologies in a healthcare setting? Thinking about spatial positioning solutions for the human body?
Clinexus and TECTERRA, two of the provincial product
commercialization centres for health technology and geomatics respectively,
are partnering with AiiMIT to find new technology solutions for today's
issues in healthcare.
AiiMIT will be holding a forum where three important clinical issues
requiring an innovative technological solution will be presented. What makes
this event special is that TECTERRA will use the information gathered to
then launch a Request For Proposals to provide funding for technology
development.
The three topics to be presented are:
- Spatial positioning of equipment and people in
hospital settings
- Surgical reconstruction using spatial positioning
- Human Performance in the Community
For those of you unable to attend in person, the session will also be available for viewing on www.aiimit.org.
