Commercialization Support

TECTERRA recognizes that the technological idea is key to driving geomatics development. There are also several business supports required in order to be successful in new ventures.

To provide support that will accelerate business success, TECTERRA has designed the following programs:

Tradeshow Attendance Program (TAP):

• provides sponsorship funding to assist geomatics technology entrepreneurs and professionals attend relevant industry events, tradeshows and conferences in support of their technology commercialization efforts

Commercialization Support Services (CSS):

• provides funds assisting geomatics entrepreneurs in the implementation of best-practice techniques in the development, management and growth of their business

Geomatics Commercialization Kick-Off (GECKO):

• provides early-stage grants to geomatics entrepreneurs and researchers for the development of  business plans for the purpose of commercializing new geomatics technologies
