Alberta Applied Research Projects

 

TECTERRA provides CFP opportunities to Alberta geomatics researchers the following post secondary institutes:

• University of Alberta

• University of Calgary

• University of Lethbridge
• SAIT Polytechnic

Project funding will range from $100K to $500K, depending on the scope and duration of the project.  Please check back later this month for details and timelines for the next call for proposals and related program requirements for these three universities.

This CFP is seeking applications from a Principal Investigator at SAIT Polytechnic in collaboration with an industry partner and/or end-user government agency with a direct interest in commercializing and/or utilizing the technology.  A Principal Investigator must be a full-time staff member at SAIT Polytechnic and has overall responsibility for the applied research project for which TECTERRA funding is sought.

• Funding range is from $50K to $300K per project.

• Applied research projects must have a clear path and plan toward commercialization and/or effective utilization.
