Future Geomatics Leaders Awards
The Future Leaders Awards are scholarships based on academic merit and targeted at top undergraduate students studying geomatics and related science or technology fields in Alberta post-secondary institutions.
Awards of $1,000 or $2,000 each
are available annually to students who successfully meet criteria.
Applicants must be entering their second/third year of study at the following institutions in Alberta:
- Lethbridge Community
College
- Mount Royal University
- Northern Alberta Institute of Technology
- Olds College
- Southern Alberta Institute of Technology
- University of Alberta
- University of Calgary
- University of Lethbridge
The number, size and timing of the annual award, as well as other pertinent terms and conditions vary by institution.
Each institution will be responsible for managing the selection of their respective award recipients.
The program is scheduled to run from 2010 - 2014.
